Exploring South Acton’s historic Mill Corner provides insight into the area’s earliest colonial settlement and its transformation into a center of industry and commerce. Topics include: the use of natural resources, the importance of Colonel Francis Faulkner and Acton’s West Militia Company, the impact of the railroad, nearby historic buildings, including those owned by the Iron Work Farm, Native American history and more.
