Martin Herrick’s Arrival, bringing word of the British Regulars; advance on Lexington
Outdoors on the Common and Stage
EMCEE begins program by telling the story of Martin Herrick and the Lynn End Militia.
He then announces the arrival as Martin Herrick rides in yelling “Stand to your arms. The Regulars are out.”
Immediately following Herrick’s arrival (Approx 11:30 am)
March to Menotomy
Militia and townspeople – including children with hats and flags – follow Benjamin Adams (or fifer and drummer) playing the drum. Proceed to end of Common.

Patriots Day on the Common
EMCEE announces the patriotic band concert.
Band Concert on stage.
