Quincy library to host talk on Greene and Cornwallis campaign

  • A special history talk is scheduled for 7 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Thomas Crane Public Library in Quincy Center, where author and historian Jeffrey A. Denman will explore a pivotal campaign of the American Revolution. The event, titled “Greene and Cornwallis in the Carolinas: The Pivotal Struggle of the American Revolution 1780–1781,” is part of the statewide MA250 commemoration, according to a community announcement.
  • The event is part of Massachusetts 250, a statewide initiative honoring the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. MA250 includes lectures, reenactments, and community programs that highlight lesser-known chapters of the fight for independence.
