Massachusetts Firsts Badge

Organizations, historic sites, people, and innovators are recognized as a First in America and in Massachusetts.  The MA250 Firsts Badge program is an opportunity to share the distinction of being the first proudly.

To recognize the many firsts from Massachusetts over the last 250 years we have created a Firsts Badge program.  Displaying the official Firsts Badge signals innovation, leadership, and commitment to advancing ideas and progress.

Using the Firsts Badge is an opportunity to highlight innovation, leadership and sites.  The program has been created to connect your organization and first with a broader community of pioneers and innovators. It also celebrates progress and forward-thinking achievement.

The Firsts Badge may by used by:

• Organizations officially designated as a First
• Approved MA250 firsts that have proof and link of where the public can learn more about the First.

 

How to implement the Firsts Badge:

• Download the Firsts Badge file here:  DARK BLUE – AQUA
• Display the Firsts Badge across a variety of platforms including:
  • Organization or project websites
  • Marketing and promotional materials
  • Physical signage and plaques where appropriate
  • Post online as a link back to the official site or recognition page
• To maintain consistency and clarity include a brief line of attribution near the badge: Proudly recognized as a first in (BLANK) year.

 

Brand & Usage Guidelines:

• Do not alter the Badge colors proportions or text.
• All uses must align with MA250 program branding standards.
