This house, while built after the Revolution, was home to a formerly enslaved man and Revolutionary War veteran, Caesar Robbins.
The home is now a museum called The Robbins House: Concord’s African American History, and is located next to North Bridge and Old Manse. The house museum, open to the public between April and October, helps to tell the stories of African Americans who fought and died alongside white colonists for their country’s freedom.
