One of Westfield’s few remaining pre-Revolutionary buildings, this house belonged to Benjamin Dewey, a Revolutionary War veteran, who lived here starting in 1772.
It is now a museum owned and operated by the Western Hampden Historical Society. They offer several open house events during the year during which volunteers in period attire lead visitors through the house. Tours are available to the public by appointment.
