The house has been home to the Amherst Historical Society since the early 1900s. The museum displays the town’s history, as well as the history of one of the owners, Simeon Strong, who was one of the first state legislators of the Commonwealth and a justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
The museum is open seasonally, starting May 17 for the 2025 season.
