Join Mayor Michelle Wu as we launch Boston 250, an initiative commemorating the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution in Boston. The full slate of events will run 5:30 – 9:00 pm across the North End and Charlestown. At 7:30 pm, Mayor Michelle Wu will headline a short program at the Paul Revere Mall alongside special guests and performers, including the Boston Pops’ brass quintet. At 8:15 PM, the lanterns in Old North Church will be lit, and a lantern procession will follow Paul Revere to the Harborwalk at Langone Park. At 8:30 PM, an unprecedented drone show over the harbor will further illuminate the evening, and will be immediately followed by Paul Revere’s row from the North End across the harbor to Charlestown, where Paul will mount his horse and begin his famed midnight ride. All of the events are free and open to the public, and Dunkin’ will be providing samples at Langone Park. More information is available at Boston.gov/250
