Voices of Revolution | Groton’s Legacy at Bunker Hill and Beyond

Join Destination Groton and community partners for a special Massachusetts 250 event commemorating Groton’s role in the American Revolution and the Battle of Bunker Hill. The program begins with a Revolutionary War reenactment and living history presentation featuring the 6th Middlesex Regiment and the Concord Fife & Drum Corps. Afternoon speakers include historians, authors, and preservationists Joshua Vollmar, Amelia McNutt, Dr. Paul Staiti, and Julie Hall, who will explore the stories of Colonel William Prescott, Massachusetts soldiers of the Revolution, Revolutionary-era art and culture, and the enduring legacy of Bunker Hill. The event concludes with a reception in the Conant Gallery. Admission is free and open to the public.
