The Town of Longmeadow’s Revolution 250 Committee, organized by the Longmeadow Historical Society in partnership with representatives from other town groups, will hold “Celebrating Our Declaration of Independence: A Public Reading and the Planting of the Tree of Liberty” on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at 1:00 pm on the Town Green. Longmeadow’s Town Meeting supports this event, and all are welcome to renew our commitment to democracy and freedom.
