Art Complex Museum

The Art Complex Museum, located in Duxbury, Massachusetts, 33 miles south of Boston, serves as a regional arts center and houses the collection of Carl A. Weyerhaeuser and his wife Edith Greenleaf Weyerhaeuser.

In celebration of America's 250th, the Art Complex Museum will be exhibiting objects from its extraordinary Shaker and modern crafts collection (May 10 - September 6, 2026) as part of Handwork: Celebrating American Craft 2026, a national Semiquincentennial initiative to showcase the importance of the handmade, both throughout our history and in contemporary life. This national initiative is being organized by Craft in America along with lead partner, the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, the national museum dedicated to American craft, who will host the core exhibition for the project and Americans for the Arts, a leading non-profit organization for advancing the arts and arts education, as the Awareness partner for this project.

Additionally, the Art Complex Museum will be organizing a sculpture show (June 28, 2026 to August 29, 2027) on its 13 acre woodland campus which explores America's 250 year story and future.
