An original play telling the story of Lynnfield on April 18-19 through the voices of the Lynnfield Militia members. their families, and other townspeople.
It will be led by a narrator who calls on various characters sitting in the audience. Characters, (who are real people from 1775 Lynnfield) tell their individual stories, which, in turn, tells the whole story. Actual words are used whenever possible.
The play takes place at the Centre Congregational Church Chapel on Summer Street, and refreshments will be across the street in the 1714 Meeting House on the Common.
The event is free and open to the public.
