Join the Beverly 400+ committee as it brings the events of October 10, 1775 to life on both land and sea. Our reenactment will feature:
• Two historic-style vessels portraying the Hannah and HMS Nautilus
• A live sea battle off Dane Street Beach
• Live cannon fire
• Colonial militia with muskets
• More than 30 local residents portraying townspeople
• Reenactors portraying British forces and colonial militia
• The Hannah coming ashore as townspeople and militia respond to the attack
• Plenty of action and activity along the shoreline as the story unfolds
The battle begins at 8:30 AM and runs until approximately 11:00 AM, rain or shine. Parking will be available at Lynch Park, with shuttle service to and from Dane Street Beach.
