For much of the past fifty years, Bob Drinkwater has been studying, photographing and occasionally writing articles about eighteenth- and early nineteenth-century gravestones in western Massachusetts, and about some of the people who made them. He brings his knowledge and insights to the Hill Cemetery in Hatfield, with a program focused on the graves of the Revolutionary era.
The program will begin with a presentation in the American Legion at 1 Prospect Street in Hatfield, and then will move to the graveyard, to look at the gravestones in person. Please wear comfortable shoes!
