America 250: Women of ’76: True Stories of Revolutionary-Era Women

This program highlights the true stories of Revolutionary-era women, including Prudence Cummings Wright, who organized and led a band of women to capture two Tory spies. Step back in time and discover the untold stories of 5 courageous women, both patriot and loyalist, American and foreign born, who witnessed, chronicled, and in some cases changed the course of the American Revolution.

This program is presented in partnership with the Rochester Historical Society and is supported by a grant from the Rochester Cultural Council, a local agency that is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
