The Stockbridge Library, Museum & Archives

Formed in 1862, the Stockbridge Library Association houses the Museum & Archives which serves as a  repository for the history of Stockbridge and its peoples. The collection encompasses documents and artifacts relating to Stockbridge-area residents of Mohican, African, and European ancestry, including a number from the Revolutionary War era. The powder horn pictured belonged to a soldier who served in the Revolutionary War and depicts the Siege of Boston.

The Museum & Archives are open: Tuesday 1-8, Wednesday-Friday 1-5, Saturday 9-2. We are closed Sundays and Mondays
