The Healey-Driscoll administration recently announced $2 million in grants through the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism to organizations across the state to support initiatives commemorating the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.
The funding includes $40,000 allocated for marketing and programming for Historic Beverly to support an exhibit of 44 Revolutionary War paintings opening on Sept. 6 and closing on July 4, 2026. The exhibit is intended to mark both the Revolution’s anniversary and the 400th anniversary of Beverly’s founding, Historic Beverly officials said.
