SUMMARY:Homeschool Program: Myth and Memory: Stories of the American Revolution
DESCRIPTION:Explore objects and archival materials from Historic New England’s vast collection and participate in hands-on activities to learn about the deeply personal experiences of individuals\, families\, and communities caught up in extraordinary circumstances. Participants will consider what it was like to live through these historic events and to contribute in small and not-so-small ways to the shaping of a new nation. \nAges 7-14 \nNo registrations will be accepted on the day of the program. One adult per family admitted free. \nIt is not a drop-off program – children must be accompanied by an adult. Strollers and backpack carriers are not permitted in the house museums.
