Through their letters and diaries\, learn how the war affected the day-to-day lives of the family of Josiah and Ann Quincy\, including their daughters Hannah\, Betsy\, and Nancy\, and daughter-in-law Abigail. The high social standing of the Quincy family and their many connections meant these women interacted with well-known figures like John and Abigail Adams\, Benjamin Franklin\, and the Marquis de Lafayette.
