SUMMARY:The Dead Do Tell Tales: Revolutionary Era Gravestone Stories
DESCRIPTION:For much of the past fifty years\, Bob Drinkwater has been studying\, photographing and occasionally writing articles about eighteenth- and early nineteenth-century gravestones in western Massachusetts\, and about some of the people who made them. He brings his knowledge and insights to the Hill Cemetery in Hatfield\, with a program focused on the graves of the Revolutionary era.\nThe program will begin with a presentation in the American Legion at 1 Prospect Street in Hatfield\, and then will move to the graveyard\, to look at the gravestones in person. Please wear comfortable shoes!
