This series will explore the American Revolution not just as a political conflict\, but as a broad and complex global event that profoundly shaped the lives of everyone in the colonies. The war’s impact extended far beyond political fervor\, crucially affecting Native nations seeking autonomy\, free and enslaved Black people across the continent\, and every sphere of social\, cultural\, and economic life—from material culture and daily labor to political ideology.
