SUMMARY:Ashby Battle of Bunker Hill Commemoration
DESCRIPTION:A ceremony commemorating the Ashby Militia’s participation in the Battle of Bunker Hill to be held on the Town Common. The ceremony will include the laying of a wreath at the Revolutionary War Soldier’s Monument\, and salutes by the Townsend Militia and Ashburnham Light Artillery. Pastor Ken Johnson will speak on the importance of the battle and the Ashby Militia’s role in it.
